Job Description :

You report to the BU Manager (whether the "BU Product" Director, if you manage programs/projects aiming at developing products, or the "BU Train" Director, if you manage programs/projects aiming at instantiating/installing products in the locomotives).
You lead customer-facing projects/programs, making sure that products are developed or installed in its clients' vehicles, and maintained. As such:

• You are responsible for the management of the programs plans and initiations, projects portfolios, schedule, costs, risks and opportunities, and revenue of the customer on your projects/programs.
• You are co-responsible of the program's business cases, delivery reporting and financials, and resource planning
• You lead the stakeholder management within your programs/projects, including all authorities and bodies involved.
• You are in charge of the relationships with the strategic partners related to your programs.

You are responsible for all certification activities needed in your projects/programs, together with the Safety director.

• You are responsible for all quality assurance control, together with the Corporate programs and quality director.
• You lead all supply management activities within your projects/programs with the support of the supply chain management.
• You arbitrate priorities on the programs, balancing technical, costs, and project constraints
• You are tracking contractual obligations on the programs

Ideally, you are headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, but will travel according to the projects/program requires.

Profile / Requirements :

You have a Master degree in Engineering, ideally complemented with a Business Administration degree, with relevant engineering experience in the Railways Domain. Or you can show equivalent successful experience acquired in the railway industry.

• You can demonstrate successful experience as Program/project manager on one or more projects/programs, as responsible or reporting to the responsible, from program inception to maintenance, including the authorizations activities, of at least

o Whether one project/program of installation of an ETCS board, in Europe,
o Or one project/program of sub-system product development, being ETCS and/or Class B compliant

• You can ideally demonstrate successful participation to the integration of Class B system(s) boards.
• You are familiar with the applicable norms (including the CENELEC EN50126 and EN50129, ISO9001) and authorities for certifications and authorizations of vehicles in Europe (NoBo, DeBo, ISA, AsBo, ERA)
• You enjoy going "hands on" when needed.

• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French/German is a major plus. Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
