ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with transport providers and negotiate rates to ensure optimal service and pricing
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of transportation plans
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving continuous improvement initiatives such as automation innovations
- Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and ensure adherence to high security and safety standards
- Develop and maintain transportation-related KPIs and reporting
- Monitor shipment planning results, fix errors in the system including working closely with IT team
- Act as a key focal point of Finished Goods in Thailand to support and communicate with Business Operations globally, Manufacturing and Production Operations, and Thailand Logistics Centre team
- Manage all carriers to support and coordinate for outbound shipments to worldwide destinations
- Forward plan for big lot shipments and competently execute all shipment modes, namely ocean (both Full Container Load and Less-than Container Load), air charter (under block space agreements), and truck (both Full Truck Load and Less-than Truck Load)
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation and shipping operations
- 2+ years of analytics experience (preferably freight related)
PREFERRED:
- Experience with business intelligence tools
SKILLS:
- Good command of spoken and written in English
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Transport Management (OTM) system or other Transport Management Systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
